The Board of Directors of the St. Marys United Methodist Church Foundation, Inc. awarded $524,000 in grants during the Fall 2003 Grant Cycle. Grants will be distributed during the week of December 8, 2003 to the following non-profit organizations:

$100,000 grant to America's Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia

$35,000 challenge grant to the Golden Isles Children's Advocacy Center

$40,000 grant to the Camden County Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA)

$15,000 grant to the Care Net Pregnancy Center of Coastal Georgia

$18,000 grant to Lighthouse Christian Broadcasting (WECC-FM89.3)

$50,000 grant to Habitat for Humanity --Camden County

$60,000 grant to Open Door Community House

$62,500 grant to the Salvation Army --St. Marys Service Center

$50,000 grant to Church World Service

$50,000 grant to ECHO, the Educational Concerns for Hunger Organization

$43,500 grant to Tuckston United Methodist Church in Athens, Georgia on behalf of United Methodist Missionaries Gordon and Teca Greathouse.
